I used to have a standalone air fryer and I LOVED using the air fryer for frozen food. Air frying French fries is what I did most with it, although I used to cook chicken in it, too (best way besides grilling IMO). When I was looking at buying another air fryer, I saw the instant pot air fryer lid and HAD to try it.

Here’s the Instant Pot that I have:

I was reading the instant pot air fryer lid reviews and also noticed the price and that immediately deterred me from ordering. When I started scrolling, I noticed this Icetek brand and saw that it was WAY less expensive and from what I could tell did pretty much the same thing as the Instant Pot air fryer lid.

I know you’re DYING to know…does it actually work as well as a standalone air fryer?

Yes. Yes, it does. In fact, my recommendation would be to NOT overspend by purchasing the Instant Pot brand air fryer lid. While I did not test that particular one out, the one I did test out costs WAY less and gets the job done. TOTALLY WORTH IT!
